MAPS - WORLD SCHOLAR’S CUP,,,,,

AN EXPERIENCE TO CHERISH!!!

The artist Austin Kleon once advised his students,
“Draw the art you want to see,
Play the music you want to hear,
Write the books you want to read,
Build the products you want to use.
”World Scholar’s Cup is a reflection of these words only.
We constantly strive to augment the capabilities of our students by providing the best of facilities. It is an honored moment for the school to proclaim that our 3 teams (9 students) have won at Regional level in World scholar’s cup .Not only this our children bagged 29 medals in different categories of the event. These nine students will now impersonate the school, the city and the country spirit at GLOBAL level in Singapore. The spark of MAPS strongly inspired students to attain high standards and won laurels.

MAPS - INVESTITURE CEREMONY-2014-15

School’s Student Council Representatives

“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way”. These great words marked the onset of the Investiture Ceremony on 23 April’14 to honour the school’s Student Council representatives. After rigorous rounds of interviews with the school Principal and Vice-Principal and the elections held a week before, the newly appointed head boy, Daksh Dua (SR.) and head girl, Priyanka Aggarwal (SR.) and Utkarsh Rathore (PRI.) and Riya (PRI.) were adorned with badges by the Principal and Vice-Principal Madam respectively. With the responsibilities placed on their firm shoulders, the newly appointed office-bearers vowed to act as role models for the rest of the school to emulate .The appointees took the oath of office “to uphold the values and traditions of the school”. The outgoing council was relieved of their duties. The outgoing head boy and the head girl handed over the school flag to the new appointees. It was conducted with sincerity and enthusiasm. The Principal at the end lauded the good work done by the outgoing head boy and head girl and hoped that the new team would shoulder the responsibility passed on by their seniors with the same sense of duty and commitment.

ELECTION MANIA.. ...

School elections are an opportunity for learning through practice. Learning that is central to citizenship education, for leadership and life skills, and that is also challenging and fun to be part of. This thought was brought in to practice in our school on 17th  April 2014 when elections for the post of Head Boy and Head Girl were held. It was a long process including
Campaigning, Manifesto, e-Voting and the Counting. The whole process of election was
successfully completed in a day and the excitement was seen to be believed. The whole
election process was completed under the supervision of various teachers and the Head of the Institution. The whole school provided the opportunity for students to participate in the democratic process of choosing representatives for a range of purposes.
