MAPS - in the PRESIDENT'S HOUSE.

MAPS students DAKSH DUA and ABHISHEK VERMA, who participated at ISEF'14 with their project Rubus Ellipticus: a natural, herbal solution against giardiasis, and went on to win multiple awards along with a minor planet on their name, now have got a space for themselves in the PRESIDENT'S HOUSE.
The two young stars have their photographs displayed along with school's name and names of the planets being named after them in the recently inaugurated NAVACHARAKAKSH. The pics are there on the planet wall along with other Indian students who also have planets named after them.

MAPS congratulates Daksh and Abhishek; you made us proud once again!!!!!

MAPS - Rendezvous with the Prime Minister of India- Mr. Narendra Modi


Never resting on its laurels, the Interact Club of MAPS made another breakthrough when it celebrated Rakhsa Bandhan with the idol of the nation – honourable Prime Minister of the Indian Union- Mr. Narendra Modi at his residence, 7 Race Course on August 29, 2015. The atmosphere was marked with energy and éclat as 43 groups from distinct corners of the country amassed to tie the PM in the sacred knot of Raksha Bandhan. Club Incharge Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal tied the sacred thread Rakhi on the wrist of the Prime Minister. Former Treasurer Suyash Sadana presented his vivid painting to Mr. Modi wherein he showed all the 22 languages of India closely knit together- reflecting Unison in Assortment- the spirit of the nation. Interact Club President Mahima Yadav, Director Isha Verma and Interactor Sonal Garg offered a huge glitzy Rakhi to the PM embellished with brilliant hues. The team then shared their unprecedented momentous experience with media and news channels. It was a splendidly grand experience for the Interact Club which will be cherished for years.

MAPS - Welcome to Mr.Himanshu Malhotra (A renowned T.V. Artist)


It was the bright morning of July 3, 2015 when the students had a rendezvous with the school heartily welcomed admired actor Mr. Himanshu Malhotra who is participant in the show Nach Baliye Season 7. The fervent Agarsainians were greatly overwhelmed to meet the actor face-to-face. The dancers of MAPS dazzled the artist with their breath-taking performances. Shubhangi Jaiswal was highly praised by Mr. Himanshu Malhotra for her groovy dance moves and unlimited potential. Students from MAPS thereby had a rapid fire question round with the actor. Mr. Himanshu Malhotra also danced to tunes with the students of MAPS and appreciated all of them for their confidence and forte. The actor clicked lots of selfieswith Agarsainians and appealed for votes.He visited to the CBSE-I wing of the school and had photographs with the kids. Mr. Himanshu Malhotra also paid gratitude to Principal Mam for inviting him to meet the students. The actor won heaps of wishes from MAPS family. All in all, it was a day packed with fun and splendor.

MAPS - Teacher Enrichment Programme

Teacher Enrichment Programme

Riveting workshops on Transactional Analysis and Teachers’ role as a mentor and counsellor was organised on 27th  and 30th June’2015 respectively. The goal of these workshops was to enable teachers to be sufficiently prepared, confident and competent to create relevant learning atmosphere in the classroom. On Day -1 of the workshop, the eminent resource person Dr. Raj Singh emphasised on the concept of Transactional analysis and six egos every human being possess. The workshop covered  topics like Personality Assessment through Transaction Analysis and Improvisation of situations leading to motivation, better communication with the evironment and other Behavioural aspects of a teacher’s personality. Psychometeric test was conducted wherein every teacher genuinely fill in the score sheet and could analyse herself.The able facilitation by Dr. Singh ensured that the participants stayed focused and that the main objectives were achieved. On Day 2 , Dr.Jitendra Nagpal, Dr.Saema and Dr.Ruchika enlightened teachers with various strategies a teacher must equipped of . T he aim of the workshop was to empower teachers to open up channels of communication with their children. It was also discussed that the teacher is the one who creates an impact on the society & contributes towards securing the nation’s future through innovative pedagogies.Thus,the two days workshop was found to be truly enriching by all and a good motivating start after a long summer break.
