CROSSWORD PUZZLE

The nice thing about doing a crossword puzzle is, you know there is a solution.

To survive in a new, globally competitive world, today's children  need creativity, problem-solving abilities, a passion for learning, a dedicated work ethic and lifelong learning opportunities. Active learning is a process in which the students are engaged in hands-on activities rather than passively receiving knowledge. Putting icing on the cake, the school has dedicated itself to let out the intriguing instincts of its students to the world of crypts and mysteries. To help the students decipher the secrets, the school is starting A-CLUE-A-DAY programme for the Cryptic Crosswords wizards. One clue will be posted online each day on the website www.mapsashokvihar.net and the answers will be displayed on the Bulletin Board near  Ms. Kavita’s room.(Sr. coordinator)
A-CLUE-A-DAY programme is designed to teach students the way to solve cryptic crosswords and hone their skills by daily practice. The objective behind the event is to tap hidden crossword talent among young students and popularise the mind game which helps in developing lateral thinking, ability to draw inference and an enhanced vocabulary among other benefits.
*Kindly note that the clue will be deleted after a week span. Be particular about checking and solving the new clue on regular basis. For any query or doubt, feel free to contact Ms.Neha Grover (P.G.T-English)
