One more proud moment for Agrasain family, MAPS has once again gained recognition by winning the International School award (ISA) 2019-2022. This is a prestigious award instituted by the British Council with the objective of recognising and celebrating exemplary practices of internationalism in schools.

MAPS - Blades 'n' Spades, an Intra School Debate Competition

Blades 'n' Spades, an intra school debate competition was held on 20 July 2019. In the senior division,Gamma Round,over 100 students from classes 9-12 participated in teams of 3. The  enthusiastic participants exhibited their linguistic and logical skills while presenting their arguments and counter arguments. For the senior division too, the alumni and guardians of some students were invited as judges who were delighted to be a part of this event. The enriching day ended with warm and inspiring words from the honourable Vice Principal, Ms.Alka Sahani,who appreciated the participants for their efforts. She also acknowledged the Adjudicators for the day with heart-felt thanks.

The results will be declared soon in a Special Morning Assembly.

MAPS - Odyssey of the mind

Agarsainins are participating at the world's largest problem solving competition Odyssey of the mind in Michigan University USA. Already won best float and banner award. Waiting for more. All the best to them.

MAPS - Blades 'n' Spades (Alpha Division)

The intra school debate competition, Blades 'n' Spades(Alpha Division) was held on 21 May 2019. Over 140 students from classes 6-8 participated in it.The students participated in a team of 3 students.

The debate topics were given on the spot and 15 minutes were provided for research. Although, there were many first time debaters, each of them gave their best. 

20 speakers will be bestowed with medals. 1-10 position holders will be awarded the gold medal and 11-20  the silver. Top 5 teams will also be awarded where in 1-3 will be given the gold medals and 4-5 the silver. 

The best speaker was selected from the Clash of Titans round where in the top 9 debaters debated in the presence of the audience and judges. 

The environment was blazing with confidence and opinion and the competition was cut throat. The results for the competition will be announced soon.

To seek grace and choicest blessings of Almighty, Hawan Ceremony was organized in the school premises for the students of class XII. The ceremony was performed with divine fervor and spirituality. Mantras were recited and the students were wished good luck. The Management Members, along with Principal Madam and the teaching staff, presided over the ceremony to shower blessings on students and pray for their forthcoming Board Exams. The outgoing batch expressed their gratitude to their mentors for making their journey enriching. The programme concluded with ‘Purna Ahuti’ and ‘Prasad’ distribution to everyone.

Let us together commence a journey of peace, harmony and progress…. 

Let us together celebrate India’s 70th Republic Day……Our school celebrated India’s 70 th Republic Day with great éclat and sumptuousness. The celebration commenced with the hoisting of Indian Flag after which the entire gathering sang the national anthem with pride befitting the occasion. The welcome speech by Sh. Pawan Gupta Ji, President-AWS inspired patriotism and infused the spirit of unity. The school premises reverberated with patriotic favour and enthusiasm as our school melodious choir sang together ‘Incredible India- A Musical Tribute’ and graced the day. Saksham of class IX brought the stage alive with his passion and love of the motherland through his speech. Applauses were never amiss when our young poets presented ‘Kavi Sammelan- A Poetic ode to Patriots’. The rich culture and diversity of our country was garnished like a string of pearls through a series of dance performances- A Kaleidoscope of Festivals, which left the audience spellbound. Later, the school echoed with the words ‘Vande Matram’ when our honourable chief guest Sh. Nand Kishor Aggarwal Ji- President, Bharat Lok Shiksha Parishad , Chairman, Crystal Group, addressed the audience eloquently with his strong message urging students to do their best and feel proud to be Indian. To bestow accolades to Agarsainians, Annual Award Ceremony was organized. Garlands of laurel were placed on the winners’ heads when they were acknowledged and presented Scholarships and Diary Awards. Finally, the vote of thanks was proposed by Sh. Bimal Prakash Aggarwal Ji- Vice President (Prabhari-School).
