IRIS Project


BREAKING BOUNDARIES…
Out of 110 projects selected at National level by INTEL, 8 were from our school. Although all the Projects won praises from judges but project by Daksh Dua (XIA) and Abhishek Verma (IX-D) won the show by winning gold medal there. Their project Rubus Ellipticus; An effective solution against Giardia Intestinalis was amongst top 15 selected and will now represent India at International level.

    A Little ISEF Dream....
    Today I am standing in the world of L.A. dreams
    coz of a Teacher who’s resourceful and with means
    We started our journey with Virdi Sirjee
    Who guided us to AIIMS with his marzee
    At AIIMS we met a nerdy guy
    Who said, “If u want a parasite toh aap kripya Chandigarh jaye”
    Then, hunt started for a lab with a sheen
    So that Giardia parasite could be kept clean
    Then we, met the Dean of JNU
    She said, “May be!” and we saw blue
    A little heartbroken we
    We met the Scientist Jaishree Paul with a wish and a dream
    Who said, “ If you bring Giardia ,I am ready n keen”
    Finally after hundreds of rides in the Metro, School and Universities- to and fro,
    Several scientists’ reject
    and autorickshaw discussion about the Project
    Today we are standing here
    aiming to conquer the World of Science out there
    Only n Only coz my school Principal and my parents supported
    Finally after 3 years of struggle I am going to be exported!!!

    I heartily thank my school Principal Punam Ma’am , My guide teacher Ritu Gupta Ma’am, my parents, all of MAPS pariwar and above all God Almighty for being the air beneath my wings. Thank You!!
