Discipline, Competition, Recognition- the essence of these words can truly be extracted in the life of the students by conducting Sports Day in schools. MAPS also announced 5-days Annual Athletic Meet 2018, a platform to provide students opportunities to attain the skills and knowledge to be physically active as part of a healthy lifestyle.The meet was declared open by the principal of the school,Ms Punam Gupta. The event commenced when our young tots of Pri- primary participated in Toon Race. The smiles on their faces filled colours in the air.

MAPS - Mock Drill

Life has it woes so learn to be on your toes, be alert.

Evacuation drills are vital and critical for ensuring the safety and security of the students and staff in every school. MAPS has also been conducting regular mock drills to evacuate the school in case of emergency so that deficiencies may be removed and further improvement plan may be executed to avoid life and property loss. The brisk walking by the students through the escape routes to the ground made today's mock drill successful. Students also received demonstration of the correct use of fire extinguishers to prevent mass casualties in case an actual fire happens.

The ATL Lab of Maharaja Agarsain Public School -The MAPS think-o-vation Center is thriving as a hub of innovation and display of student’s amazing abilities. It is a wonderland where MAPS innovators are doing great work and interesting projects that range from social issues to human health. While its still in its nascent stage yet students have shown endless possibilities and a great future ahead. On 14.08.18 students showcased their acumen to various guests from School Management through innovative projects. The audience was awestruck and found students work worthy We thank our school management for this unparallel opportunity to showcase our innovations.

SPIC MACAY, the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture amongst Youth, vidushi Shovana Narayan ji left the audience awestruck with her mesmerising moves.She shared her immense knowledge about various forms and expressions of kathak. We are proud to be a part of this movement.

MAPS - CELEBRATING 40 YEARS.....OF ACCOMPLISHMENT

Commemorating and recalling the ethereal ways in which the school has fulfilled its mission in imparting education, moral and spiritual values, our school celebrated Ruby Jubilee on 10^th April 2018 in the school ground with enthusiasm, fun and frolic.It has been a landmark in the journey of the school which has grown from a humble beginning in 1978 to its eminent stature today. The beautiful evening commenced with traditional lightning of lamp ceremony followed by welcome of galaxy of guests by the school Principal. She read the school’s achievements and welcomed everyone wholeheartedly. Sh.Ravinder Gupta ji (General Secretary, BJP, Delhi Pradesh) was the distinguished guest of the day while a host of dignitaries were also present to grace the occasion . They appreciated the efforts put in by the staff and students to come up with a wonderful show. After the felicitation of guests with shawl and bouquets, the mesmerizing performances by Pre Primary wing and welcome dance to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha,Shiva and Goddess Durga  won everyone’s heart. The high point of the day –a play on Manavta kept everyone glued to their seats.Rudransh –the show stellar who plays the central figure of the play was well acknowledged and given the cash prize from management. Towards the end all the participants gathered together for the Grand Finale.

The management members unveiled the school magazine AGARPUNJ 2018 and congratulated the editorial team for their efforts. 

The Sr.Vice President (Sh.Anil Gupta Ji)  expressed his satisfaction over the achievements of the institution and congratulated everyone for achieving this milestone.  The school manager praised the performances he witnessed and said that they were unique and he congratulated the Principal, teaching staff and students on celebrating 40 years of excellence.

Roars of applauds and appreciation echoed in the grounds of MAPS and the day will be etched in everyone’s heart and memory forever.

Safer Internet Day 2018 is  being celebrated globally today on Tuesday 6th February 2018 with the slogan “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.

MAPS - 69TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 69th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur on 25th Jan in the school premises. The day started with the piece of  message sent to all schools by Mr.Manish Sisodia (Dy.Chief Minister,Delhi) for students read by the school Vice-Principal followed by discussion of preamble as per CBSE guidelines.An air of patriotic fervour permeated the atmosphere with the beginning of programme where students staged a patriotic play saluted the efforts of the national leaders in building an independent and republic nation. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children sang and mesmerized everyone. The danceform of different states  presented by students captured everyone’s heart. The meritorious students who secured 10 CGPA and those who proved their mettle in different fields were awarded. The celebration continued with speeches that reminded the students of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. The celebrations became all the more special as the lift which is constructed for the help of students with medical issues was inaugurated by esteemed members of management. The AWS President Sh.I.D.Garg ji spoke eloquently about our diverse nation and the relevance of the Constitution. The vote of thanks was proposed by Sh.Rakesh Gupta Ji(School manager).
