Never
resting on its laurels, the Interact Club of MAPS made another breakthrough
when it celebrated Rakhsa Bandhan with the idol of the nation – honourable
Prime Minister of the Indian Union- Mr. Narendra Modi at his residence, 7 Race
Course on August 29, 2015. The atmosphere was marked with energy and éclat as
43 groups from distinct corners of the country amassed to tie the PM in the
sacred knot of Raksha Bandhan. Club Incharge Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal tied the
sacred thread Rakhi on the wrist of the Prime Minister. Former Treasurer Suyash
Sadana presented his vivid painting to Mr. Modi wherein he showed all the 22
languages of India closely knit together- reflecting Unison in Assortment- the
spirit of the nation. Interact Club President Mahima Yadav, Director Isha Verma
and Interactor Sonal Garg offered a huge glitzy Rakhi to the PM embellished
with brilliant hues. The team then shared their unprecedented momentous
experience with media and news channels. It was a splendidly grand experience
for the Interact Club which will be cherished for years.
